Since the expansion of Dauntless Computers, Jacob Lux has actively served as the lead technician and engineer for the Central Florida branch. With studies in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Central Florida, his expertise extends well beyond the basic knowledge of assembling a PC. His passion for gaming and learning has led to experimentation within fields such as game design, web design, PC repair, AI deep learning, and much more. "Soul of Jacobeh" is Jacob's online handle. He has experience in many competitive gaming scenarios and has many hours on PC, console, and mobile gaming. His knowledge of the field extends to his work. His unique introduction to gaming has evolved a strong desire to give each customer the very best.
When I first began playing games, everyone had the PS3 and I had the original playstation. Everyone got the Wii, and I had just picked up the Gamecube. The Nintendo DS was hugely popular and I had just gotten my first Gameboy. I tried gaming on a $200 laptop which couldn't so much as run Team Fortress 2 or Minecraft. I was determined to improve my performance and got into modding, hardware work, and game design. I also got pretty good at playing at a disadvantage. I don't want anyone to have to deal with that. I hope my experiences and expertise translate to a better machine that better suits the needs of my customers.
